Lily studied English Literature at Durham University, which reflects her love of good storytelling, something very prominent in her work. She also works an actress, having trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, a career which compliments her character driven, narrative-focused work as a choreographer.
Working collaboratively with creative teams and casts alike, she is experienced in working with both actors and professional dancers, and has worked on a variety of projects across a range of styles and mediums.
Most recently she has been working on an R&D of ‘Alcina’ at Glyndebourne and the Candian Tour of SOLDIER ON- Canadian Stage - Toronto, The Other Palace Theatre and UK Tour. This Christmas she also choreographed Chipping Norton Theatre’s pantomime PUSS IN BOOTS.
Her previous movement direction and choreography includes: SHAKESPEARE IN REMEMRANCE- Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, WEST SIDE STORY- Immersive production at The Savoy Hotel, HONK- UK Tour and The Union Theatre, OUR AMERICAN COUSIN- The Finborough Theatre, ECSTASIES WITHIN- Southbank Centre and Latitude Festival, BED SEVEN & MURDER IN WHITECHAPEL- The Tristan Bates Theatre
