Emma is a freelance director who received the 2010 Regional Theatre Young Director Scheme bursary in association with The Young Vic.

Emma is artistic director of Lightbox Theatre and is committed to the discovery of new and forgotten voices. She is also a regular script reader for the National Theatre of Scotland.
