Frank McCabe trained as an actor at RADA, and began directing shortly after graduation. As a founding associate of Brighton’s Two Bins collective, Frank has directed a dozen or so productions, including Matt Wilkinson’s RED SEA FISH at 59E59 Theaters, New York. He teaches acting and directs at The Academy of Creative Training in Brighton.
His first play as a writer, TEN MEN - THE LIVES OF JOHN BINDON, was performed at The Old Market In Brighton and Rich Mix, London. His second, THE HEART OF A TIGER, was commissioned by The Bush Theatre in 2013. Frank is one of the BBC Writersroom 10 for 2014.
